Help with victory mirrors- Lenkergewicht

Hi Guys,

Im sorry to have to ask in English but i have some questions I think only the s1000r.de forum will know.

I would like to buy the Victory Mirrors and attach them to the bar end weight like the ones from Jorg66.

The problem is I don't think there are any left for sale from Jorg66 and need to find some alternative 'Lenkergewicht'? (i hope thats correct)

Do you guys know of another solution which mounts the mirrors nearest the grips and not on the outside edge of the bar end?

I would ideally like them in the same place like below:

I have found these on Polo Motorrad but only the Honda look to have the correct shape and they would need drilling to accept the M12 bolt for the S1000r

do i have any other options and where can i buy some from?

thank you guys ThumbUP

Hat denn da niemand der Beteiligten noch ein Paar gedrehte Lenkerendgewichte für unseren Damodici übrig aus einer der letzten Bestellaktionen!? scratch

Maybe you can take one original part to the technician. So he has a template and can change it only.
That's the way I did.

Maybe a Washer with the correct diameter thickness 10 mill.
The original bolt is Long enough

Yes that's a good idea, the original bar weight would need to be put in a lathe to create the smaller circumference and then a washer would do the job.

Hopefully though I won't need to as Jorg66 may be able to help.

I just wondered what other suppliers make something similar

I found this from Rizoma which I'm trying to understand how it works , I can't quite understand whether the thicker part sticks out from the bar and you clamp the mirror around that.

Or there are these which look ok in theory but won't be as heavy and also they're not threaded

Hi damodici,

There is a much easier and pragmantic approach to fit Highsiders to the S1000R.
1. Get the Highsider EVO ones (new model)
2. Widen the existing hole to 12mm
3. Use both the ORIGINAL bar ends and bolts to fit

The result looks just stunning and rock-solid. IMHO ways better than using the old Highsiders and bespoke bar ends.

Cheers,
Lungco

This could be another option for you. It adapts the thread-size from the rizoma bar Ends (metric M6) to the original BMW bar end thread size (metric M12)

This is just to use the original rizoma bolt with the m12 tap of the bmw.
Doesnt help you.
If you want to, i send you a drawing of my bar ends (wich of course are the much better ones).
